Right now I am interning at the admissions office at the college, which is helping me to get office experience. I am also part of a club on campus called The Bonner Society that does a lot of community service. Since 2004 I have had several speaking engagements, trying to impact other people's live, and that is why I want my career to be a motivational speaker.

Letter of Intent
Dear Viewer,
I am currently a junior at The College of New Jersey in the Career and Community Studies Program. I am taking courses that involve life skills and job preparation. When I graduate I am looking to work with a speaking agency because my goal is to make a difference in other people’s lives by becoming a motivational speaker.
In the past I have had several speaking opportunities. I have had a chance to speak at middle schools, high schools, colleges, and child study teams. For example, I have presented at Delaware Valley Regional High School about reaching abilities and goals. I also spoke at the Developmental Disability Council to encourage students with intellectual disabilities to look into college as a post-secondary option. I always adapt my message to my audience. In my presentations I speak about the struggles and challenges that I have overcome in my life. I hope that by sharing my experiences I can make an impact on other people and help them to achieve their goals. I am very passionate about my message and always prepare to speak. I bring technology into my speeches by using PowerPoint presentations.
I also have experience doing office work. I intern at the Admissions office at The College of New Jersey. Some tasks I complete are filing papers, logging data on the computer, and helping with mailing. I am open to completing many tasks, whether it is speaking or office work.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My resume is below for you to look at. I encourage you to continue looking at my blog to see more of my work, skills, and other experiences. If you have any questions or comments feel free to email me at hutchi10@tcnj.edu
Sincerely,
Phillip Hutchins

My Work Experience
A lot of my work experience comes from doing presentations. Most of my presentations have been in school and college settings. I have developed my own website in order to promote myself and get more speaking opportunities.
In my speeches I use PowerPoint presentations. The following PowerPoint will show you some topics I cover in my motivational speeches. It depends on my audience which topics I will cover, but this PowerPoint gives you an overview of everything.
